REVIEWS OF Picanha Grill & Bar
Overall, this is a great place. The steak was fantastic, and they just kept on bringing it. The buffet was interesting for what it's worth; I've also been trying many different Brazilian restaurants in California and even traveled to Brazil. Picanha's food is as close as you get to Brazil, I would definitely return. It's a great value and experience.

Our office went here for lunch and I was very excited about eating here. The food was decent, I really liked the pesto rice and the tabbouleh from the salad bar. And the meat was good too. The only thing I didn't like was that there were not enough people coming around serving meat, so we'd get a tiny piece and wait before getting another. The meat was also very rare and had a lot of fat and scraps. However, when we asked for well done meat they brought us an abundance which i really appreciated. It showed me that they care about their guests and that they enjoy their meal. The passion fruit mousse dessert was very good! The staff that served us was very friendly as well! It was overall a great experience as by the end we got great meat and left full and with laughs:) (it's also not too crowded at the lunch hour)

My husband and I frequent this place. We love the cheese bread balls and you can't just eat one or two. Its an all you can eat place. They have a good size buffet to get your sides and they bring you all sorts of different meats to your table. They have this salt and pepper shake like wooden block that you use to let them know if you want meat to be brought. The green means keep comming The red means " STOP I AM DONE" You must go there VERY HUNGRY. The Brazilian Beef is our favorite meat the brought to us.

I actually found this place by accident. I was looking for a parking space on Palm and noticed Picahna's. Really did not feel like having stake but the place was packed, so I decided to try it out. Good place, I wouldn't say it was the best, but I tried all the different meats and I must say the Brazilian sausage was my favorite. I should of tried the fillet mignon, but I think they don't serve that during lunch.

I also agree the desert selection was not that good, but overall if you want to have a good lunch, and are hungry enough to pay around $30, then this is a good choice. If you are looking for quick and cheap, this is not it.

An alternative, or an "insider" tip is, if you eat at the bar they offer a meat platter for like $12 that includes all the meats the serve, with a good beer, you can get out of there for under $20.

Wonderful atmosphere, great food. I have been in Brazil vacationing for several months, and really, this place is the closest it can get to brazilian food. Great service, really good price. I recommend it to all!!!

By far this is one of my favorite steak places ever. Trust me when I tell you this is one place that will leave you coming back for more and more.

The gauchos are great, the waitresses are friendly and the fact that the food is great just makes it even better

I usually go in for lunch. We had our Christmas lunch there also. But diner is the time of the day that you should be in there. The serve filet mignon and baby onions that will drive you crazy. OK maybe not crazy but a little insane.

One suggestion though, need to get some more desert selection, but after a full meal, who needs desert anyway.

Very nice atmosphere, I think Picanha is one of the best Brazilian place on the San Fernando Valley, it really was worth it.

"oooohh what's that?"

Those were the words that keep on coming out of my mouth for about 1 hour during lunch time as my friends and I marveled as the giant skewers of meat rolled by. We turned our little signal to green and the meat came, and it came often.

With their vast choices of cuts and species, of course the quality of taste fluctuated. The chicken parm, nothing to write home about, but man the sausage and filet mignons?

You also get a lot of joy from the process as well, "Would you like some Brazilian beef"? As the juicy giant slab on a skewer is presented before us... How can you not respond with "Ya DAMN right I want some beef, and so does my friend.. who's too busy chewing!..

Ooohh what's that? I will have one of each...
