Gauchos Village has some of the best Brazilian Food I've ever tasted. The meats are always tender and juicy, with tons of flavor! I also love the atmosphere that has been created @ Gauchos Village! Located in the heart of Downtown Glendale, it's in the midst of great shops and lots of local flavor! Definitely a restaurant I recommend to my friends and family!
So you walk into Gauchos Village, and its a high ceiling, brick walled restaurant with high chairs, great looking bar right in the middle, and a stage on the right.
You have a full buffet bar with many types of food, including rice and salads. Open kitchen and all you can eat meat.
Parking is a nightmare in Glendale, but there is valet in the front, but charges arm and a leg. Try parking in the free parking structure and walking a block or so.
I have been to many Brazilian BBQ places but this is bar far is one of the best ones I have tasted. The meats are tender and the buffet is well stocked. The weekend dancers are also a lot of fun.
Show up around 9:30 on Friday or Saturday night and stay for the show.
Food was great, but not so happy with the service. They saw I was with my kids, and took us and stuck us in the corner of the room right behind the bar. We were actually sitting underneath their supplies. The funky part, the whole restaurant was empty.
Wow this place is incredible. I must say that this is my favorite restaurant in Glendale. Great atmosphere, samba music and dancers during the weekends. The meat cuts are really delicious. I recommend to all meat lovers!!!
This churrascaria is the best one I have found in Los Angeles County. It is an All-You-Can-Eat restaurant so it is a terrific value. The restaurant recently relocated. The new location is much larger. It features a large bar and a stage for the live entertainment. I enjoy the shows on Friday and Saturday nights as they feature Brazilian Samba dancers. The specialty is meats barbequed over an open flame, served by Gauchos who come to your table and carrying skewers or swords from which they slice the meat. Of all the restaurants I have visited this one ranks among my favorites.
While I wish that they would have been a little quicker on the uptake, I really have little else room to complain. While it's not Fogo (which really, let's face it, should be like 12-stars), it's pretty gosh-darned good.
I would also like to add that it's chicken-tastic and porktastic, as well.
And it's cheap for lunch $14.99 plus free drinks on the patio (weekday lunch only)!
Gaucho's Village is the best in Brazilian cuisine. I am been to all the churrascaria in Los Angeles and the SFV. The place is really clean and the food and service is excellent. The side dishes were hot and a good variety. This is a fun place, good food, great music, and Saraya (bartender) is a gem! It would be nice is they served a horseradish sauce and expand their dessert menu!
