Good service, good food and energy of Maikobe was great. I would for sure dine here again and suggest others give it a try.

great sushi and i love that you can sit at the back tables and watch the food be made right in front of you! It's one of my favorite date places as well. They have a full bar and they have happy hour 7 days a week, my friend Anita and I take advantage of the $2 Hot Sake! It's amazing!

MaiKobe is an amazing Japanese restaurant located just off Colorado Blvd in Old Town Pasadena. They have great prices during their Happy Hour 7 days a week, and since I'm a big fan of Hot Sake, the $2.00 drink special is perfect for me. I also liked the decor inside the restaurant, very trendy but still kept that traditional Japanese feel you get in most restaurants.

It is off the strip, but walkable if you are going to stroll down the Colorado Blvd. The place is typical Japanese motif, same stuff you expect every other Japanese restaurant, but the food was above average.

My kids love the whole hibachi grill thing, and its one of the only places that they will sit through the whole meal without a word.

Its also good that they have a full bar, because I hate sake. Overall a very good place to eat.
